I personally would always opt out of Purina I don't think Purina is a good brand and just because it's packaged like this Pro Plan in the vet doesn't mean I'm sold when I look at the recipe and the ingredients in the food I just see too much corn corn germ meal whole grain corn low nutritional value and if it's high up on the ingredient list that simply means that they used a lot of it carnivore it's absolutely a ridiculous in price it's anywhere between 160 to 170 for a 22 pound bag the good about this brand is that it's quick baked low and slow air dried Whole Food nuggets you can see it's not burnt the first couple ingredients chicken chicken liver eggs ground it is high in carbs all kibble no matter what you find are going to be high in carbs because that is the binding ingredient then we have Essence somewhere in the middle I like this one because the first couple ingredients Herring sardines mackerel Herring meal Cod meal Pollock meal I'm using these if you want to use these no shame but I'm over here ...
