if you want to have a dream canine companion like these two pooches here it's incredibly important that you lock down a rock-solid morning routine to set you up for huge amounts of success and in today's video i'm going to show you exactly what that should look like now to understand why my morning routine is so effective and so successful we have to understand my pyramid to success that is the foundation the fundamental the principle that my dog training system is built on and at the bottom of my pyramid i have leadership your leadership skills that you display to your dog depending on that leadership that you display then informs the next level which is the relationship that you therefore have with your dog then depending on the type of relationship you have with your dog informs the top level of the pyramid the pinnacle of the pyramid and that is your communication with your dog so what my morning routine is designed to achieve is to make sure that you have wonderful leadership skills it's informing an amazing relationship so that your communication pathways are wide open which allows you monumental levels of success so let's dive into what that morning routine actually looks like so now we understand the importance of my pyramid to success we can look at how we can use our morning routine every day to make sure that we're hammering that home and keeping our pyramid as sharp and as effective as possible and we start that every day with a good old-fashioned walk but not just any walk a structured walk where the dog's walking on a loose lead by our side it doesn't need to be formal fancy heel where the dog's perfectly in place making eye contact but just by my side on a loose lead in tune with me so that i can do this at any point let's go and they're in tune what this does let's go is it's constantly building that base layer of leadership because there is no better way to build loving leadership with your dog than leading the pack migration every day so start your day with a beautiful structured walk so we've just got back from our morning walk where we have achieved massive amounts of success of communicating our pyramid of success that leadership is everything and that you need to look up to me for guidance and direction we have to have this wonderful relationship where you trust in my loving leadership and because we have that relationship where she trusts my loving leadership our communication pathways become wide open and now we've got those communication pathways nice and wide open we want to capitalize every single morning and work on that communication doesn't have to be long it can be a minute a couple of minutes a few minutes before the last thing we're going to do in our morning routine we're going to do some training and that's all we're going to be doing now it doesn't really doesn't need to be much but down yes sit yes couche yes i see down yes good girl break good up up up up yes sit yes couche yes assi good break and just repeating a few drills that we're working on we're shaping son of light riley's multiple language skills tuning her up making it fun keeping it engaging but most importantly focusing on that pyramid of success and capitalizing on that tip of the pyramid that communication pathway that's now wide open we do that every single morning to make sure that we have huge amounts of success with our dogs and that leads us into the very next step that we do every morning this is the next step in your morning routine now for me for my dogs now they're older i only feed them once a day and that's at the end of the day but if you feed your dogs twice a day now's the time to give them breakfast but don't just give them free access to their breakfast put in that barrier to entry now it's meal time the dog sits they look up to you for guidance and direction you put the food on the floor and they don't have it until you give them permission to put in more of those pennies in the piggy bank of leadership they're gonna have their food they can have it but why not use it to our advantage why not use it to help us have perfect canine companions that trust in our loving leadership because of this relationship that we're able to build with them isn't that right and as simple as that guys make that your morning routine and set yourself up for unbelievable amounts of success with your dogs if you like this video like it subscribe because we make videos like this every single week to help you achieve perfect canine companions just like these two [Music] you ...
